Well- yes- they did not need the space.. that is correct.

On the other hand- Callan Road was 97.000 ft²- versus Lusk Boulevard 29.500 ft²- so question is- what are they paying for now? Obviously the 572K$ severance pay for terminating the lease, creates a hefty hole in the petty cash. Answer in the 10K I presume.

Just a few dates- on 2-17-2017 the lease agreement was closed. On 2-15-2017 the Azaya acquisition was completed. I always assumed that was done, since they knew the 24 weeks STAR data. I apparently was wrong, they did not- otherwise wouldnt have closed the lease agreement a few days later.

Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.

I doubt that now very much. A scientist and Cytori shareholder, who drives past the Callan Road building on the way to work everyday, mailed me yesterday, that a biotech start-up moved in at the time of the re-organisations in September/October last year.

The Cytori signs are still out there, so they obviously occupy still a part of the building. How much, we will surely find out soon enough.
