The current unbelievable price below .50 suggests to me that perhaps Oxford is not cooperating on a fix to the current arrangement and that they may force CYTX into a BK corner with the only alternative being a buyout or merger.

There won’t be a buy out, why would the sharks offer up anything when they can pick up anything that’s valuable for pennies in BK.
These guys have managed to totally screw this up, from a market cap of 18 mil pre RS to 2 mil in just a few months.
Merger? They still haven’t brought anything across home plate, just years of possibles but no runs scored.

In response to your first sentence, until the lenders are paid-off, essentially all the valuable property belongs to them and their loan is lot more than the current market cap - you can bet that they will likely not lose a dime imo.

Well perhaps they, unlike us Rod, have decided to pull the plug and get what they can.

B-7, when you say "they", who are you referring to? - if you mean the lenders, trust me, they will not lose a dime!

That’s the whole point isn’t Rod, for them to pull the plug while they can to recover with what secured assets are still left.

B-7, the point is that for the lenders, they would rather not have to be the liquidators of the assets that (without a functioning entity) are going to be more difficult to sell at a decent fair value imo - the lenders would much prefer a private placement, a buyout or a merger at this point in time imo.
