DOV:
You will love the terms "appear" and "suggest" and "may" in this glowing report. Oh boy
######

Well, like I said the other day, they are shopping for funds as no OA deal will be coming out of what the released today.

After 12 weeks, did not obtain statistical significance for pain while walking. Were we expecting better than that at 12 weeks?

Awesome first phases, then hmmm second ones, and then nothing...... same story again?

Well, we can hope for the next first phases that are on the list... trade it, don't invest it.

Top line results based on the single question at 12 weeks when the placebo effect is strong hides good data on the key secondary measures.

I think we are down to the hail mary final read-out to see where this app goes now. Just my opinion on what we got today. I guess we see what others post and have to offer.

We all knew there was a reason they sold in the .20s, now we know why.

No worries, we are going after aging, balding, softening, bending, etc.. next

Hopefully they can monetize scleroderma. A buy out now wouldn't be so bad. They could still get OA through with some tweaks and a partner. A thinking partner actually shouldn't get discouraged by those results.

cyter, you were right all along. They knew back when you said something was up. Most of the shares were dumped already. I think now someone will start to accumulate.

Paul, if a dime breaks down and the price goes to single digits, then it is over... will take A LONG TIME to go to zero but it is over for sure.

Chris showed up, they are opening in a market that is considered "easy money", and Marc is slowly bleeding this patient dry... green zoning it to avoid legal trouble...

It's OVER, without a reverse split. ATM is the way to financing after the r/s.

Too bad, CYTXer and now DOV and Hedge are right.

CYTX will be a very small firm, concentrating in orphan indications and it will take a while to bring in meaningful revenue.

However, 4th Q results maybe Ok if Lorem fulfill its purchasing obligations.

Too bad, the OA data is not promising to bring in a partner, while shcleroderma partnership will not happen soon before the r/s.

CYTXer is right, we may see single digit soon and the r/s maybe ugly.

Hope all these will not really happen. Too bad things do not look good.

DOZE -

According to this recent "success" story from Okyanos, it appears 12 weeks is a threshold?

okyanos.com/richard-stem-cell-treatment-joint-pain/

"“In July, 2015, at the recommendation of a friend, I did stem cell treatment at Okyanos for various joint issues. While my shoulder was better almost instantly (in about 2 weeks), my knee actually felt somewhat worse right after the treatment and I wondered if this was really going to work. After about 3 weeks I could feel the stem cells had been doing their job and my knee got progressively better and better, and today it feels completely restored!"

Hmm.... read a post on yahoo about stem cells stimulating hormonal response which correlates with the euphoric placebo feeling in first 2-3 weeks. Seems like Cytori is turning out to be a drug after all. I call 30% gain from here by end of April. $0.18. Mark it. Then get ready for the r/s if they can't monetize other apps.

i'd imagine so? Those stem cells are charging through the body at 120 over 80 (assuming you're healthy). Where they stop, nobody knows.

Only time will tell and time costs money.

Not a slam dunk ....... but not an abject failure as some would have us believe.

An interesting article on the placebo effect in OA trials, is well worth reading.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4458492/

Lets not forget that the trial was not powered for statistical significance. We are told that the trial data showed that the placebo was not statistically significant vis a vis the treatment arms. We were given an analysis of only one factor in the KOOS analysis ie. pain on walking.

OK I have a couple of questions :

1. Did the participants report a significant reduction in pain irregardless of the treatment arm they were in?
2. How significant was the reduction in pain?
3. What was the p value of the treatment arms and the placebo? P of 0.07 while not statistically significant has a whole different resonance if we take the above mentioned article's observations into account. :yep:

Of significant importance is the following:

""Key secondary endpoints include the total and sub-scores of the KOOS, patient assessment of knee pain, knee stability, osteoarthritis activity and osteoarthritis damage, use of as-needed pain medication, pain while walking 50 feet and health status as measured by the SF-36. Consistent trends were observed suggesting improvement in the cell treated group relative to the placebo group at the 12 and 24 week time periods for patient reported outcomes.""

The above seems impressive to me. :joy:

As an individual who may one day require some therapy utilizing ADRC I am very happy with the results to-date. I look forward to the 48 week data which will hopefully have allowed the placebo effect to dissipate and for which we will have MRI data.

As an investor who has invested toooo much money at the wrong price I am worried. However, NO WAY do I sell at these levels with this recent data.

***Not a slam dunk ....... but not an abject failure as some would have us believe.***

I don't think even cytxer said abject failure.

What the release did show is that a deal from this result to date put the kibosh on a OA partner now and we will have to wait for the final result to see where this goes. Something that current cash levels do not allow. That means a infusion from another source. History here is those choices are most often very bad for current holders.
